OVERVIEW

The Department of Urdu with UG Course was started in 1962 under the Grant Aid Scheme. The Department was upgraded to PG in 1983 under permanent scheme. The college started teaching urdu in M.A. classes from 1983. Approval received for educational department, Lucknow for Urdu in 1984. The college affiliated in P.G. Classes and has been imparting higher education in urdu since 1983. The urdu curriculum trains students on research based project, various seminars, lectures, workshop, symposium, competition on different topics; skill training, Guest Lecture and value added course are recurrent features of the department. We also have remedial classes for slow learner, different awareness programmes, capacity building and skill development programmes and Add-on Courses. According to NEP students are prepared to develop their talents , mentally, socially in a healthy learning environment.
